Brandon Kurzawa

Brandon Kurzawa is the Founder and Executive Director of Music Notes Academy in New Jersey. Music Notes Academy was founded with the vision of providing comprehensive music instruction to students of all ages. The Academy provides music instruction within a developed curriculum which combines classical and jazz performance areas of study and includes music theory, performance skills, and music composition in addition to instrument instruction.

Brandon is an accomplished professional percussionist and is an educational endorsee and contributor for Vic Firth, Inc. the largest manufacturer of drumsticks. He has recorded with singer Amanda Avila, singer –songwriter Anthony Krizan and currently performs as a freelance musician throughout the New York metropolitan area.

In 2007, Music Notes Academy and Mr. Kurzawa were recognized by Metropolitan Who’s Who for excellence, leadership and achievement in the professionof music education. Mr. Kurzawa has instructed music at Rutgers University, Kean University, and is an adjunct professor of audio engineering, music and music production at Gibbs College.
