Dan Sorrenti

Dan Sorrenti has over 30 years of experience as a professional and consultant in the fields of fund raising, public relations and marketing. In 1989 he co-founded and now serves as the President and COO of Ghiorsi & Sorrenti, Inc. (GSI). GSI is a national fund raising and public relations firm that specializes in planning and directing capital campaigns for the full spectrum of non-profit organizations. Over the firm’s history, GSI has partnered with several hundred clients in raising over $5 billion.

Prior to starting GSI, Mr. Sorrenti served as the Director of Marketing at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New York and prior to that position, as St. Vincent’s Director of Public and Community Relations.

Dan is a long time member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy for which he served as the Board’s National Chairman of Public Affairs and Marketing.

Mr. Sorrenti is a graduate of Fordham University and has served as an Adjunct Professor in the Graduate School of Management of the New School University. Dan has published in Fund Raising Management Magazine and frequently serves as a featured speaker at professional education conferences.
