Phyllis Schless

Phyllis Schless is a senior corporate finance executive with over 35 years of experience as an investment banker and principal. She currently is Chairman and CEO of Ross Financial Services Group, Inc., a corporate financial advisory firm that she founded in 1986. Prior to founding Ross, Phyllis held leadership positions at Bear, Stearns, & Co., American Can Company, Lazard Freres & Co. and Trans World Airlines. She also is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University and Columbia University teaching mergers and acquisitions.

Phyllis graduated from Wellesley College from which she received a B.A. in economics. She went on to Stanford University from which she received her M.B.A.

Phyllis has lent her expertise to numerous foundations and nonprofits, often as a member of the Board of Directors/Trustees. Past directorships include: Girls Clubs of America, The Presidential Internship Fund, and National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. She also served as a trustee for the New World Foundation and the National Child Labor Committee
